Increase Money and Gourmet Points per minute

Ok, so you are really intense about making sure you are making the most cash per hour out of your restaurant, and as a result, your gourmet points. Since all dishes make you $2 despite the level, the only way to increase your money is to serve more customers and faster. The layout of your restaurant has everything to do with this. So you have some mazes set up to keep your popularity up, and you have island designs to make sure that your waters and cooks get food to the customer quickly.

But with so many different types of restaurant layouts, you are going to need to experiment with a few in order to get the highest rate of money per hour as well as make the place look as you want it to. In order to maximize your revenues, you will have to calculate your current revenue rate. Here is how to do it!

  1. Get your materials ready. Paper and pen, or a word processor type program. Also, get something to time yourself by the minute, such as a watch, clock, timer, etc.
  2. Enter your restaurant interior and make sure your employees are full health. Check to make sure they have the best green smiley face next to them in employee toolbar which shows the percent energy they have. Usually this will be over 80%.
  3. Get your timer ready, and make sure your customers are coming in at an even flow. Now, at the same time, start the clock and record how much money you have at the start of the minute.
  4. At the end of the minute, make sure to record the amount of money you have. This is your standard rate of money per minute, which you should compare your other layout ideas to. If you want the number of meals per minute, simply divide the number by 2.

A good number to shoot for as a goal is about 15-16 meals per minute, or $30-32 per minute. Remember that in order to get this, you are probably going to need to have 50 popularity to keep the customers wanting to come in the door, as well as several staff members.
